"Hi, I'm Andrea!

Divemaster, chemical engineer, MSc in Sustainability Science... and founder of The Dive Compass.

After too many dives ending in sunburn or even untying my bikini under my wetsuit, I knew divers deserved better. So I built sustainable swimwear that actually performs underwater AND protects the ocean you love.

Every piece we make comes with a coral commitment, that we honor with every order.

Through our Save Our Seas Pledge, 10% of every purchase is donated and plants corals with Livingseas Foundation in Indonesia, who is actively restoring coral reefs and building back the whole coral reef ecosystem, one coral fragment at a time.

Marine habitats restored

Without the hard coral foundation of a reef, the reef goes silent. No shelter for fish, no structure for the ecosystem, no color or life.

Livingseas Foundation plants each coral fragments by hand on underwater reef structures, giving the reef the foundation it needs to recover. When you buy from The Dive Compass, this is what your purchase is funding.

Recycled Fabric Swimwear

Every US-produced piece we make starts with 75% recycled polyester, certified to the Global Recycled Standard (GRS) and OEKO-TEX 100, and made from post-consumer plastic waste. Compared to virgin polyester, rPET reduces CO₂ emissions by up to 79%, keeping plastic out of the waste stream and out of the ocean.

Made to Order, So Nothing Goes to Waste

We don't keep any inventory, instead every piece is made when you order it, which means nothing sits in a warehouse or ends up in landfill unsold. It's a slower model by design, reducing unused inventory and excess waste.

Your order takes 5–7 days to craft before it ships, and that's a trade-off we think is worth making for being kinder to the planet.

Great leggings all around! The fabric is soft, the design is beautiful, and the function is excellent. With the rash guard I felt glamorous and sun-safe. Easy to doff during intervals and put back on. The scalloped waistband is a great touch. Will definitely shop with The Dive compass in the future!

What a cute and functional way to dive in Bonaire! The top fit beautifully and feels very substantial. The sea foam green matches beautifully with the Octopus print and is very visible while submerged. I felt both sun-safe and thematically glamorous!
